Bora

Thanks to ultra-ten years of experience, BORA is an international leader in planning, in the design, manufacture and maintenance of moulds, in addition to moulding metal components for automotive and home appliance industries. The constant investments in advanced technologies and modern organization are the basis of the most important certifications obtained by BORA in  quality, environmental and safety issues.

BORA is a reliable and complete partner thanks to a production area of about 2.000 m², a large moulding department,  2 laboratories with state-of-the-art measurement and analysis technologies for quality control, a research and development  office for mould design and industrialization of products to produce in their own production lines.

The project

The need for BORA was to change IT System that was no longer considered appropriate to cover optimally the company's processes in a context of accelerated and business development, also due to the opening of a subsidiary in Poland. The main objective of BORA was being able to have a single solution for both branches,  strongly focused on the management of production processes and planning, both for the moulding of the metal sheets that for the construction of moulds.

The solutions adopted to meet the needs of  the company have been theOASI , information system, the finite capacity schedulerTHRON end document IKNOW. 

Today BORA with OASI product , Thron and IKNOW products can handle 360 ° all business activities in a simple and performing way.

The numerous needs emerged at the beginning of the project have been analysed with constant collaboration between us and the area managers of the company Bora. This has enabled us to configure our standard solutions by also implementing customizations, especially in logistics and production fields. Over the years, adopting and integrating our solutions (ERP Oasi , Thron production scheduler and iKnow workflow and document manager), the customer manages all business processes by involving the many departments: Technical office, logistics and production, quality, administration. Today, after about 10 years, we are in constant contact with the customer to analyse new requests and propose our new solutions.
